What makes Dry-aged steaks so delicious? We dry-age our steaks under exacting conditions in our meat locker at 34 degrees for 21-28 days. This creates extraordinarily tender steaks with concentrated flavor. Though it takes time and costs more to dry-age, we think you’ll agree—the result is a remarkable steak you’ll remember.

I ordered the filet mignon and all I have to say is, YUM, YUM, YUMMY. Every item was to perfection from our entrees to our drinks, and right on down to the decadent chocolate cake we shared for dessert!
The decor, wonderful attentive service and delicious food made our evening most memorable. I had to try the small cut of prime rib which was outstanding and more than enough. Our waitress was fantastic. You have to go to Sam’s!
This is our favorite restaurant of all time! From the moment we enter the building we are greeted with a wonderful welcome, lots of smiles from the staff. The food is so delicious and eye appealing. The salad bar is unbelievable! Fresh homemade bread and desserts are AMAZING!
With some good VT draft beer, excellent tuna, and oysters, I was already impressed, but then came the steak. Another home run! Nicely marbled, tender, excellent flavor and not over seasoned. We have eaten at most places in this area and bottom line Sam’s delivered the best overall meal, start to finish.
This place rocks! Clean is the first thing you notice. The staff is involved in taking care of both the restaurant and the customers. Our waitress made you glad that you picked Sam’s.
The Salad bar is just what we wanted. The home made bread at the end of the counter is just plain good. The salad makings are fresh and tasty. My wife had steak I had scallops. Both were done just right. We recommend Sam’s if you are in Ludlow.
The food, ambiance, and staff were exemplary. The experience made our trip to Vermont one to remember. We went two of the four nights we stayed in Vermont. Sam’s Steakhouse was phenomenal and I knew it was a winner because the kids and wife were happy. What more can you want?
Best Steak in the Okemo Valley! A very nice atmosphere with great service. They have a top notch salad bar and the steaks are second to none!!!

SAM’S STEAKHOUSE only serves steaks graded by the USDA as “High Choice” or “Prime.” Sam’s steaks are in-house dry-aged for 21 to 28 days in our climate controlled locker, then char-grilled over live coals so you always get a juicy, flavorful steak.
